Element from "Jived," a page in a 1954 CBS-TV promotional alphabet booklet "Primer for Prophets" by jazz record cover illustrator Jim Flora. The booklet, illustrated in its entirety by Flora, portrayed daily activities of the average American family, and was intended to entice corporations to advertise their products on the then-new medium of television.
